Had a great time at the Sawdust Festival last night watching the Really Classic Live Band. I plan on not missing them on August 25th, Saturday, when they join a second band at the Sawdust Festival, for an all Beatles morning and afternoon. Posting from Laguna coffee, about 10 to 15 minutes up Pacific Coast Highway. A great place for people watching and having coffee and snacks anytime but on Saturday mornings at 10 a fluid group of elderly Jazz musicians, men of age but men are very much talent guitar, singers, brass perform here free of charge for 2 hours. It's a great show and a great way to start your Saturdays.

The warmest water temperatures in Catalina are towards the end of August. It's a great little day trip from Dana Point Harbor. Lots of Tours, Beach fun spots and sun.

How to get there:
10 minute drive to Dana Point Harbor, about a 40-minute, $35 boat trip from Dana Point Harbor to Catalina Island, and you're there. Several time's the boat comes back from Catalina on the same day as late as 7 PM.
